Garry, from Shannon, Co, Clare, Ireland holds the prestigious
title of ''Hero's first enrolled student back in 2004. Since then Garry has gone on produce his own brand of technofunk, featured below in his aptly named ''Safety bit'' and also forming his own Band Dissonance featured below performing ''Morning Sun'' live, an Epic self penned number. Moving from performance to become sound Engineer for Irish band: Take the stand. http://www.takethestand.ie/and also working on his own freelance engineering business Freelance Sound Engineer, Garry keep himself well immersed in the music Irish scene. He is currently working as an IT Specialist with Piercom, Below in the first of three videos he makes a rare solo appearance performing a lovely song called Thorn which was captured by tommyinsmb. Long road traveled eh Garry!. |

Leanne is my Daughter and although she was raised among all the
many guitars in the house, only took an interest in learning to play in late 2005. Singing always being her strong point it was great to see her combine both to great effect. A rare video below taken in Spain in 2014 is the only video footage of Leanne performing but it's enough to prove, she is mine! |
Adam comes from Newmarket-on-fergus, Co, Clare, Ireland and
was one of our most colourful charachter's during the 2005 season. A keen stage performer and always involved with the various music projects in the area. Guitar still playing a big part in this young mans life as he now teaches locally in his home town, and here at Hero's we are so delighted for Adam. Our job is done so I guess! |

Emmett from Shannon, Co, Clare, Ireland is a multi talented young musician who has swapped the Guitar pick for the Drum stick and has
done well for himself ever since. Emmett is now the Drummer for up and coming Irish indy band Rudy TrixX. We have included some of their videos just to show you Emmetts very skillful drumming below. very accomplished guitarist is better known in the region for her beautiful vocal ability. Lauren Sexton from Shannon, Co, Clare, Ireland has been singing
since she was a little girl. Always one to perform at the drop of a hat Lauren has performed in local variety shows in the Shannon region and has also appeared on National Television performing in The Helix in Dublin , on of Ireland's most prestigious Music Venues. Lauren studied at the School of makeup Artistry in Co, Galway and after graduation in 2014 opened her own Shannon based Business: Lauren Sexton Makup Artist. We here at Hero's are so proud of Lauren's achievements and delighted she still finds the time for playing & singing, A love we are sure she will carry on for life. Below Lauren is captured on video singing and performing her own beautiful composition called; Be Careful. Produced by her Father James Sexton, himself a very successful local Entertainment Entrepreneur founding such well known Business such as Kidz Party Club, Hiya Event Production and most recent Creator of Ireland's latest fitness TV sensation, Ireland's Fittest Family. So Lauren has has a great team behind her and we are sure to hear more from this young Sexton Entrepreneur. |

DJ from Shannon, Co, Clare, Ireland is every guitar teacher's dream.
''A natural'' born to be a guitarist, this young man was a delight to work with and to this day we always talk ''shop'' when we meet. Coming from a blend of two well known Shannon family's famous for their; ''singing, dancing, stage performance and general contribution to Shannon's musical heritage, it's no wonder the force is strong in DJ. In the nine year's since first I taught DJ, he has been a busy man. Practicing both his art of video making & live performance, seen below performing with One September, a Shannon based band. Currently he is guitar technician & Roadie with one of Ireland's biggest Rock acts Big Generator. Luke is from Shannon, Co, Clare, Ireland and has been
part of the driving force behind the Shannon Music Project. A very distinctive strong vocal & subtle guitar skills make Luke a force for good in the local music for some time to come. Connor originally from Shannon but now living in Caarrygarry Newmarket-on -fergus is a multi-talent young musician. Playing both Guitar and Drums as a session musician in the Shannon region, there is much demand for this man talents. Connor is also well becoming an accomplished in his own right having his prints posted in local newspapers and also exhibiting his work at local craft fairs, in the region selling many pieces and gathering repeat clients. Sisters, Sarah & Emma Mulcahy from Shannon, Co, Clare, Ireland

First coming to Hero's for guitar tuition in 2008, these young Sisters were among the most enthusiastic students we ever worked with here at Hero's. The two Sisters have played at many local social musical events since completing tuition with us and are captured below playing & singing in their local Church. |

Podge Colling (Class of 2008/9)Podge from Cratloe, Co, Clare, Ireland needs no introduction
but none the less deserves his story be told as one of our most famous students here at Hero's Guitar School. Swapping the Guitar for the Hurley he has become a household name not only in Co, Clare but all over Ireland winning several All Ireland medals in both under 21 and Senior County level. ''We forgive you Podge, but you have made a wise choice''. A very talent young lady who has taken her singing & guitar playing very seriously indeed, appearing on local Limerick radio station live 95fm and also made quite a lots of great YT videos, some of which we have included here.
